Hi guys had a search I have a small vibration when slowing up. I have adjusted hand brake and had a good look at props couldn't see anything very obvious to make the noise doesn't knock when under load of heavy braking, hope somebody can he as I am transporting stuff for a scout jamboree and don't want to break Down and let the kids down

Sounds similar to a problem I had a few years ago - rather than spend a vast amount of money chasing the knocking I went to a garage. After they had driven it, they diagnosed worn CVs. I said that I'd have to save up the money to have them carry out the work. I bought the kits from mm4x4 (I think) and did the work myself. Changed all the wheel bearing and swivel joints at the same time - knocking disappeared.

Moral of the story: get a professional diagnosis, then save some money by doing the work yourself.

Hippo yoou is not helping the poor fecker! ;)
Round wheels are advised though!
Am shorry.

Try braking with it in neutral (engine still running or you'll loose the brakes and steering) and see if that makes a different. Also get someone (or yer pig) to stand outside yer tratter (but not in the way) to listen to the braking. They may be able to pin point it's location betterer than the driver.

You may have run over an angry dwarf with a hammer. Park it in a river long enough to drown the dwaft then drive out. Not too deep mind. You'll take on water and the doors will fall oft. :bolt:

Ok guys thanks for all the suggestions. In the end it's seemed to have been the handbrake drum when I got it the handbrake was binding and I guess it heated up and maybe caused it to deform causing this shudder thanks for the help :)
