Yeah as hughesy said mate, I had the exact same problem not long back on my 90! Took me ages to pinpoint it down, in the end it turned out to be one of the 'UJ's" on the rear propshaft!
20 Quid for the UJ and me local back street landy garage kindly replaced the UJ for me! Only took him 10 mins and suggest if youve never done one before to get someone who has cos its easy for it to go wrong and damage your new UJ!

As above - give each of the UJ's a shake and see if any are loose - Othings things i would check are
1) is there any oil in your diffs ? - there wa't any in mine when i checked a few months ago
2) Is the hand break drum catching - does it seem to catch when reversing ? if so the drum may have become warped a bit - simple answer is to just release the adjuster slightly (one or both ends) - will mean you have to pull the handle up a little more
But my guess would be one (or more of the UJ's) - it your taking the prop shaft off to get it done by a garage - may well be worth getting both ends done at the same time as they are probably all original.
