We have a 2014 range rover l405 and there is a knocking coming from the front on both sides. We have replaced the drop links, lower control arms and now have just replaced the air struts. The knocking noise is still there and everything else with the suspension looks fine. Any help would be appreciated

What are you doing when it happens.
Driving straight bumpy road?
Turning?
speeding up or slowing down?

Did you tighten up the lower arm bolts before the motor was let down on the ground as i believe they should be done when under load.

On the L405 and year I wonder if the active anti roll bar system is done away with and moved to the struts themselves , easily identified if there’s electrical connections going to the top of the air struts

or maybe I’m thinking of something else

as others have menironed if the noise is there when u brake gently or hard , going round corners or a straight line

plus at the end of the day that’s the worst thing u can do I’m afraid by throwing parts at it, really needs to be gone through methodically

if u can describe when the noise happens that will help us, maybe have someone in the vehicle and take a video for u

Also thinking have u tried it in each ride height setting to see if it still makes the noise , ie access, standard off-road and extended height.

has the suspension ride height been calibrated , along with tyre pressures etc , brake calliper checked to ensure there not loose

seeing new , arms have been fitted was a 4 x wheel alignment carried out, along with the steering wheel angle sensor calibrated , do u get any noise just Going round a left hand bend

assume tyre pressures, sump protection plates etc have all been checked
