Hi

have a little problem with my keyfob. Im on key 2 and no idea where key 1 is....

the button for unlocking the switch attached to the board is no longer attached to the board :-( the lock button works, so I'm having to unlock the car with the key and insert the key into the ignition and press lock to deactivate the immobiliser.

So

can I get the fob apart without destroying the case? And does anyone know of anyone in Manchester or St Helens area that could solder it back on??

Does anyone make a replacement for the P38 key?

Or

is it just dig deep and pay the main stealer to make me a key 1 or 3??

I don't know about reattaching he button, but you can get the key fob cases on eBay for under a tenner if you do destroy it.

Never seen the cases, only the button repair kits?
The case can be split but it can be destructive

There's your answer then, cheaper than a new FOB. I could re-soder the button but I'm too far away

ok well, thanks for the offer and if I'm passing next time I'm in France and it's not sorted by then I'll make sure to call past with choccy biscuits

Can get the cases on ebay also a few guys on there that do repaires
