key fob stop working on disco 1

hi folks, need some help, i cant get the disco to start. I press the fob central locking does not work. i can iropen with key, all its ok. the alarm goes off, ignition on, all lights on, but it will not turn over. put new batt in just same, do i have to set the fob up again.97 disco 1 v8 efi auto

sorry to bump, but im despetate to get it working, can anyone help

Did u resync the fob after replacing the battery ie. press the lock button 4 times?/
Do u have have spare fob?
If so and u still have the problem then u may have have a faulty fob to get your enging remobilised you will have to use your emergency access code entered via the drivers door lock. Info on how to do-it is in the your owners handbook.
