Key Fob Re-Coding Help Needed.

Hi All,
I have just replaced a dead battery in my remote key fob but I need to find out how to re-code it.
I have the type that just locks/unlocks the doors and has a separate key for starting the car.
Can anyone, Please post up a 'how to' on doing this as it would help more than just me?

hi just press the lock button at least four times that should sort it
