haha, some cracking answers, and I would laugh for real if I was not desperate.
Would a landrover or BMW dealer be able to sort a key out?

If it is an alarm fob think your best/only bet is Landrover, you may need log book, security pass number (if LR use security numbers, usually in you service book).Dont email, you'll be waiting all day.Phone a UK dealer if language is a problem get the part number etc. off em first. Hunters LR at Preston.0845 517 2153

Thanks for the sensible reply.
It is just a simple key, turn the lock to get in. I have been trying to contact local dealers and locksmith but going up dead ends.. and being a weekend, the swedes are mostly not working.
I have my log book and passport. Not sure about security pass number tho.
I may have to wait until Monday just to talk to someone.
Will ring Hunters now tho
Cheers shakerattlegroan

I know some locksmiths can programme NEW alarm keyfobs, don't know if they could cut a blank key without using another key, tbh. I'm pretty sure LR can tho. Most manufacturers can replace lost keys.

My sentiments exactly..
I am in a situation here, and people think its funny to come up with thier wise cracks.. Well do me a favour, if you haven't anything serious to input to this thread, then don't bother..
No need for your cancer post you moron, you dont deserve any help

Well, I was about to offer some sensible advice but you can whistle now, using remarks like that is sick and low, cancer is not something to be used as a insult!

its very easy to bend the top of the door frame and break in with a coat hanger, them gaylanders are made of cheese.see an aa man bust in 1 with a mini airbag wedged in the top of the door..

then you can get in and burn it...

Thanks for some of the replies..
Yes I agree the cancer part was a bit harsh, I am sorry, it was the straw that broke the camels back, and I snapped. Again I appologize.
As I said, I am stuck here and slightly desperate, came for advice and it was one joke after another.. finally I blew, Sorry.
Been googling Locksmiths (låssmed in Swedish) and still coming up with blanks
No-where open until Monday as regards dealers... even the UK one couldnt help much.
Thanks
and yes I know cancer sufferers and people who have died from it... Everyone probably has.

Have you got key cover through your insurance?
Have you got European breakdown cover?
I'm sure you have already thought about this.
Good luck.

Kev

That's better, nice of you to apologise, now you can open the doors from inside the engine bay as that's how the aa and rac do it, I don't think that you can get a new key cut without one to cut from, so you will more than likely have to have a new ignition barrel and locks fitted
