K Switch wiring?

Got a couple of K Switches to use with my front and rear spot lights, the old switches used only 3 pins however the new ones use 5 pins. An extra couple for the LED's in the switch itself.

Can I just splice some wiring into my existing wire or will I need to find myself some new ground and earth wires to use. I have removed the rear wiper and clock as they are no longer used so have a couple of spare positives and earths.

I think the extra wires are for the illumination when you switch the headlights on,, using the ground will be ok but you will need a feed from the dash lights,

Just read your post again, I have used the wire from the light in my clock for the illumination for my carling switches
