I've just fitted diff-lock to my 2000 td5. Straight forward job and it works great. Many thanks to Urban Panzers excellent web site (which gave me the origional idea and which I also used for directions) and to Jay at Home - DiscoveryTd5 for providing the kit which was of great quality and a little cheaper than Ashcroft Transmissions www.ashcroft-transmissions.co.uk/
it may sound silly, but I now feel I have a Land Rover (ie more likely to `go anywhere'), rather than just a 4 wheel drive.... It was embarassing at times with just TC in the last snowfall!
Can recommend anyway.
