just done my first job !! easy fix door

Well chuffed, been looking like a right idiot trying to get in my disco everytime, ive had to keep pulling the handle quickly several times before it would finally open,

so took the door card off to investigate, and saw a long metal rod with a thread on the lower end, so it looked like the linkage needed the play taking out, so finally worked out that the top clip comes off of the rod allowing it to pull out of the lever, then i turned the rod about 4 times to wind the thread down , then pulled it up slotted it back into the lever , clip back on , and hey presto door works perfectly now,

so a simple job even for a novice like me, might help someone else like me,

so you gotta start somewhere

it's great when you fix it yourself but you just end up finding more to do

Door spring are really fiddly...I gave up, but I will have another shot when I have time.
