A quick Hi to you all. My name is Rob and im in the UK close to Lincoln. Just bought a 2000 td5 xs 3 days ago. Loving it atm but its now raining so cant tinker with it. After a panic when I found the ACE fluid bottle was empty I was relieved to get a reply from the seller that it has the spring mod. The only fault I have found so far is it has the warped exhaust manifold and whistles past 2000 revs. I feel the 3 month warranty people will prob try and get out of fixing this as it hasn't actually broken. Although having a radio cassette is very retro I don't have any cassettes so am looking to either replace it or buy a device from ebay to plug into the back to accept inputs from mp3 players. I have had a look how to remove the radio and failed. It has a removable front and is from Alpine (not sure if it is standard or not) and I cant see anywhere to insert removing keys etc. im guessing it is just in tight. Honking it down with rain atm and the sunroofs are holding firm with no signs of ever leaking. Hope to have a happy time and not experience any of the horror stories ive heard about Landys.
