The cheapest fix is to change the O rings and trim the pipe slightly. The collets are pretty bomb proof unless it's previous owner was a blacksmith.

well im working on it as we speek it seems the main stealer wanted to see me again so they cut my pipes and added 10 more joints to run the risk of a return visit!!! se enclosed pic.

so i cut the pipes back a bit and replaced the cullets from a P38 i bought for parts. i have the door open and letting the tank refill to see if it will "rise to the occasion" with out any difficultys.

What a bloody abortion and you paid them for that?

I'm curious. I don't understand the thinking behind that at all. By the way are we still talking about the non-runner you bought recently for a grand? how's she coming?

here's a typical example of one problem leading to another. as im looking at the EAS problem i saw steam/smoke rising from where the tops of the cylinders/bleed off valves (which by the way i changed the bleed off pipes a few weeks ago) i see there is diesel spurting up. could it be coming from the injectors? the bleed off pipe seems ok??
