Hi guys, just signed up because I am on the lookout for a s2a cab as a bit of a workhorse/project. My name's Dom, I'm at uni in Sheffield at the moment but finish in June, originally from Norfolk and I'll be moving back there after uni.

So if anyone knows of a roadworthy series 2a or even a series 3 (pre 73 though) cab going in or around Sheffield or Norfolk for under £2k then please let me know!

Currently driving a mk3 golf, don't know if any of you are into your VWs but it's only an 8v, merc wheels, coilovers, leather recaros but it's only used and abused unfortunately!

Thanks guys, I know I'm pushing it, I've found a '59 sII for £2500, going to have a look at it at the weekend. Also got another few leads so hopefully I will be a landy owner in the next couple of weeks!
 
welcome dom, iv had 5 mk2 gti all 8v, mk4 gt tdi, my father in law has a mk5 gt tdi and just sold a mint mk2 gti its like it just rolled out the showroom in 1991

Nice, had three mk2s before my mk3, two 1.6 and one 1.6 GTD, great cars but fancy something a bit more meaty now!
