jump seats stuck - help

hi folks, anyone have any good tips on how to get the rear jump seats from being stuck in the back down position. I have them firmly in place but the backs just won't go up - the little lever just won't move ahead. I don't use them often but I'd like to get them moving ...any help greatly appreciated.

coat em with wd40, and i mean ****in coat em, then just use a bit o muscle to move em back an forth a bit at a time, they will soon loosen up
