Judder when pulling away and turning right

2001 D2 Td5 Manual. When I pull away while turning sharp right (i.e. pulling out of a T junction) there is a judder felt through the steering wheel. It is after the clutch has fully engaged so I suspect some other transmission/joint issue. Doesn't happen pulling away straight, only when combined with full or near full lock. Any ideas? Cheers

If it wasn't a LR I would say straight away "CV joint".
But this is a LR so I would not be confident, although I do agree with you about it being part of the drive to that wheel.
So I'll be brave and say "check for play in the CV joint" but leave it open as it could be something like a power steering issue, bearings etc. But I really would expect the three amigos to be on if you have a bearing issue.
Does the steering feel notchy?
You do say "when pulling away" but does it happen on full lock when reversing as well? CV joints always show up on full lock.

Just struck me, could any part of the steering have come a bit loose or is the steering damper not up to snuff?? CV joints tend to be more heard than felt. But again, I am open to correction (as always)

Any noises associated with the problem?
