since i got nowt done yesterday ive done a solid day today to try and make up for it so ive nearley done the bulkhead wich just needs the anchor shoes doing now and a bit of fettling on the door posts then its ready for a good blowing over with the blue

and done a bit of graft on the rails and outriggers ready for when the bulkhead goes back on then i can refit the seatbox and floor plates and get a little space back in the wash house

hopefully ill get the other outrigger done tomorrow and all painted up to that point ready for the engine comeing out and bulkhead going back on :D:D:D:D

That's good progress again. Are those new chassis to bulkhead brackets?-look in very good order. That bulkhead looks excellent - i'm sure there must be some LR specialists that would outsource work restoring bulkheads for them. You could do with an example bulkhead (unfitted) to demonstrate your ability. I guess for many welders bulkhead repairs would be an undesirable job and hard to find.

good work m8, have you got tea bags on your eyes tonight? is that a standard outrigger or one the previous owner made out of an old rsj?

its looking good pal keeo up the good work showing us all up lol

the outrigger ive just pieced back together is actually the tank hanger and ive used some 5mm steel plate i aquired from a gas main excavation that was being done a few weeks ago ( the silly buggers just left it on the grass near where they had filled the hole in )

ive also got me eye on a fence pannel with some galv steel tubing theyve just left lying around aswell :eek::eek:

had a pretty good day today finally got some thinners for me paint and done a load more fiddly bits getting prepped up for the big bulkhead refit

now ive only sprayed the inside of the bulkhead for now as i cant find any way of making it stand up so i could walk round it so tomorow ill turn it round and do the other side but looking at the pic now ive just realised ive gone and put the vents on the wrong sides bugger !!!
