Hi can anyone advise on the best type of jack for a Land Rover 90. I just want to easy be able to change tyres and get my axle stands in place (not off road). I have a winch on the front with bull bars, if I use the standard jack it marks the front bumper when at the correct height to change the tyre.

I have looked at hi-lift jacks with the defender adapter (I am not convinced this would be any different to the standard jack) and also the land rover bottle jacks. The land rover bottle jack seems to have a v top which I assume would go under the axles, do other jacks have this?

any advice?

thanks
Russell

Trolley jack at home, dont use a hi lift as they are very unstable and not really a good idea for daily use. They are a very good idea though when you are beached offroad.

3 ton axle jack ought to do it.

Great, had my 90 up in seconds and wheel off for a brake ajustment (hitting it with crowbar).
