Ive decided which one to buy

Ok after looking for ages if found one i like and have decided to go for it.

runs well
all old mots
2 prev owners

i went to see it. it did drive well, gear changes were smooth, no smoke on startup, stearing was true, engine oil was smooth. as im no mechanic my inspection stopped there. the body work did have some oxidising on it and the paint work was bubbling in these areas also minor dings and sents throughout so would have to do some work on the body but as this was a farm pick-up this was expected.

as im am looking for the pickup version of the defender, and they dont come about that often close to me, dose it sound ok. any comment welcome

assuming you know a litle about cars, u wana get underneath and have a good look around the chasis and check for no dodgy bits, have a tap round with a hammer. if anything seems week or loose then walk away or drastically negocitate price. also check bulkhead ( bit between cab and engine bay) the age she is and mileage u shud expec to find no probs. but u may. these kinda things can be more expensive to sort then other faults. the obvious stuff too like check when its been serviced, exhaust TIMING BELT, fluid changes. all stuff u can barter for if its not been done.
this is only in my opinion.
i'm sure someone wil come tell me to **** off but oh well.
