P38A I've been offered one...

For not much money at all actually. A very nice clean, P38A diesel with as far as I can tell only 52k on the clock. It's currently stood in a barn after its own had a stroke and it just got left...

Turned it over on a jump battery and it wasnt stuck, although I'm worried about rusted bores I think that was the first turn of the key in ten years. Airbags look OK... cant find much rust... paintwork though is atrocious it's covered in bat****...

Sorely tempted. Just need to find driveway space!

Maybe it was the stress of owning it gave the owner the stroke ?

I know they are meant to be bad but they are not that bad Naa the poor sods never been in the best of health sadly.

sad to hear that , though seriously i have had a few P38s and they can really really really stress you out if they want to at times

It's sat back on its suspension. I do declare theirs probably a leak there. Hardly surprising....

Easy to fix with the help of wammers guide mate

I think the cracked piping is the giveaway... I'm reluctant to dive in cos I know I'll just end up buying it and I still dont have drive space...
