Angle grinder is at the ready, I'm about to cut a slot in the flange as per locky1978 suggestion.
I would have done this earlier but I had to strip it enough to get this back home to a power point,
I was hoping the bits would arrive today but no luck.
I can't believe this has gone so bad, I only wanted to change the wheel bearing!

Oh no!!! I'm so so so sorry, I didn't see that in time.
It's off!! All in pieces now.
Amazingly it's now obvious why the thing was so stuck.
It took an hour and a half to cut/chisel the drive flange off.
They are recessed into the hub a fair way and I was going canny hoping to save the hub from damage. #epicfail
The hub nut was rusty as #### and had loads of rust dust falling out of it,
I pulled the bearings out, the outer one red rusty! No grease at all, just a partial covering of red grinding paste.
Inner one looks normal? Rust had crept down the outside of the stub axle, inside was worse I can see where the cv shaft has been rubbing the rust away! it's proper ####ed.
I can't believe the only symptom was a funny squeak when turning left!
Iv decided just to do the lot I'm not taking this pig to bits again for a while.
Anything that's not right I'm changing!
