I can think of no other new car I would prefer to buy at this moment, sadly funds do not allow.

Were they to a Heritage please.

Damn .... I jumped in too early and bought a new one last year ! ...I'm liking the look of the Heritage model ....

£61,845.......£43,495........They're really kicking the arse out of it at those prices....

Ridiculous at those prices.

I love the heritage one... But I've fallen in love with mine now and it's developing it's own little quirks already :love:

YES.........just been considering an automatic 50th Defender but the prices are amazing and I think they've gone up again recently....I'm sure they were around the early teens middle of last year....very seriously considering scrapping my auto disco and using it to give me an auto 90

Stupid money and a troublesome ford tranny engine

I'll take the money, spend £10k on making my 90 perfect and spend the rest on beer and diesel!

A lot of money for what by modern standards is not a particularly good vehicle. I suspect the only takers will be those who really want an old defender.

I suspect you'll still be able to get them somewhere in the world, in which case you could personally import one and get hold of them that way

That's probably smarmy Geraldine McGoverns idea.....a few stickers....a fancy grill....'upgraded' to a whole gut wrenching 148bhp yip you heard right,a whole 148bhp..... say it's art with man and machine at one together, hold a scoop press conference with all the editors you have in your hands due to all the freebies that are fired their way and the marketing dept think it's all great fun....blah blah blah...

Yip...designers and their elk see the Defeaner as old hat these days...ho hum...so be it....
