Its Gone!

Well, its finally over, £2.5K later and I am now Landyless. Mixed feelings. Part of me misses it already. Not sure what to replace it with.

I have enjoyed being a part of the community on here. Most of you have been helpful and friendly most of the time!

I will still have the occasional lurk to see whats going on.

Have you thought about a Land Rover Discovery..? The're Great Motors, albiet a bit tempremental and have a big community following...
I 've heard there one for sale by St Mary's Church at the whirlpool: £3.5k nice red one with a K&N filter and new steering lock barrel

Just been to manchester and got an 04 C Max 1.6TDCi. I thought that being only a 1.6 and a diesel at that, it would be sluggish. Far from it - this thing is quiet and it flies along and does up to 69 mpg!

I know, sorry. Don't know what I was thinking! I can see me getting a series to play about with. Landys are OK but not for an everyday vehicle is the conclusion I have come to. Soeone I work with just got a S3 diesel on a Y plate complete with Ivor Williams canopy on the back for just £50! I think thats the sort of landrovery that makes good sense!
