Might be a stupid question - his mine a "hotwire" ecu?
I think I know what the problem might be, and I think someone might have suggested it already, and one of the garages it went to may have ballsed it up since then.
I bet its the wire from the ignition coil to the ECU.

The word “hot wire” is how the air is monitored going into the plennum.you could also have a flapper…

So go to air box & find the item between that & the engine & post a photo.
Then remove inlet pipe(air filter side) & take a photo of the inside of that item.

Its a 3.9, I dont think they ever came with a flapper, did they?
