My 200tdi 90 is my main transport.
I use a works vw transporter the same as Wiltshire landymans, a very powerful van indeed, but only for work.
In the summer I use my motorbike on the rare weekends i can be arsed with the hassle from the plod. I know I bring that bit on myself, but i cant help it.
The missus has a propper car its not nice, We go out in the landy with no complaints from her.
WE love MY little money pit.
 
I drive a 2003 Fiesta Black to and from work and on long journeys cuz the missus can't get in and out of the landy with her skirt on. At the weekend I love cruising round, up, through and over stuff in the 1991 Defender 90 200tdi. I love them all as much as each other including the missus.

I drive my 1989 90 everyday. I've only had one problem with it, fuel diaphram breaking 100m from Dartford Crossing. Apart from that its done me well. Though it'll get reaplced when I finish rebuilding my new Defender.
 
Unfortunately at the mo I get about 13-14mpg in my defender 90 2.5 petrol. I am looking into whats lowered the mpg, see if i can get that a couple up and am fitting an lpg kit. I use it as my main car but any long drives we take my wifes, it isn't so costly on petrol. Once mine is sorted it will go everywhere with me :D
 
Was my main vehicle up until a month ago.
Driving high mileage to work and back was killing me financially, and piling the miles on the clock....
Got me a Smart Fortwo Brabus as a second vehicle (compared to my 90 it moves time and space :D but i get untold grief about it being Thunderbird 4 from inside the back of me defender....)

to and from work everyday (40 mile motorway round trip), and wherever else the wind takes me! costs me about a tenner a day at the mo.
 
Yep, my 1990 110 pickup is my everyday vehicle. I'm self employed, so most of its use is for work in the woods but it also get used for what little recreational time I have!
