So I have a 300TDI Engine (no ancillaries)

Is there a demand for when it comes to individual parts from the engine? .

It is missing some pieces such as the Oil sump bolts, cambelt housing and cyl head bolts.

I can't imagine shipping would be an issue if people would be willing to pay for it, I can always get boxes from work.

Currently on eBay as a complete purchase but would be interesting to see if anyone reckons its worth breaking or not...

Hey, @Jin

If you can add another 26 posts, then you can place a Sales post...

Cheers

Yeah saw that, that would be a bit spammy, if I posted for the sake of posting.

I guess my question was more engineered towards. Do people who rebuild engines buy a whole other engine for parts (like I did) or do they buy individual parts?

This thing is already on eBay but I haven't had any biters. I am just debating what would be best to do with it if it doesn't sell. I feel really conflicted by the idea of throwing away a 300TDI engine considering that it could go to help another landy out.

Might wait it out for next years meets.

The head would be worth listing on ebay, as its easy enough to post, but the rest of it is probably of little interest.
I assume by "no ancillaries" youve stripped beyond the injection pump (ie no brake vac pump, pas pump, etc. as theyre all worth somthing)

Sorrry for the delayed response. Yeah I have.

Basically I bought an engine no ancilleries for £50 and then found it cheaper to buy a complete engine with ancilleries than buy ancilleries separately.
