Is there a bias?

I was wondering if my manual 1998 disco 300 tdi have a bias in the 4x4 traction to front or back, the reason I ask is I have two brand new 255/65/16 tyres and two new 235/70/tyres and was wondering if there would be a difference if putting them front or back,I was planning on putting the slightly wider 255s on the back as there would be less of an issue with possible wheel rubbing, and the slimmer ones on the front ready for the winter. thanks

equal torque front and back as true 4wd should be,so keep your tyres equal too
