Wherever I lay my hat.
My engine has started smoking from the oil filler cap (even when fitted) and the dipstick.
I first noticed it when i was drying my air filter out after sucking a bit of water in from somewhere when the little pond we had been playing in turned into a deep pond all of a sudden . Smoke poured from exhaust, I removed and dried airbox, refitted, no smoke from exhaust, but then i noticed a wisp of smoke from around the oil filler cap, I removed the cap and shes breathing heavy and smoking. I don't know if it had just started or if it had been smoking in secret for a while.
I've since checked the breathers, cyclone thingy and tried another cap, the turbo has a tiny amount of slack and smokes from the exhaust on start up but its allways done that.
THE SMOKING HABBIT HAS GOT WORSE
I was parked up with the engine running tonight and noticed smoke from under the bonnet not loads but it was coming from under the filler cap and a fair bit. I have also noticed oil on the chassis from the dipstick base I think, it was dark when I got home and had a quick look.
I know what it could be, head gasket, rings, piston, cracked block/head but will it blow up/run on own oil if I keep using it or will the smoking habbit just get worse. I would normally look into this straight away but have just treated her to some seats, polybushes. rrc axles, so i'm skint and cant really afford what could end up as an expensive engine rebuild.
Is she Gonna blow or should I leave her in the drive?:(

yep thats gonna blow the block to peices.Get a new air filter. Then check ya oil.I suspect it will have GONE UP.This is cos the engine has drunk some of ya pond.Dropp all the oil.If it was a dirty pond get some flush.Put new oil in.Fingers crossed you will have got away with it.
