I don’t remember but about half the price of a good one. I had spent loads on nice wheels, tyres and seats etc and was trying to save a few $$$ to finish the restoration.
It's a dilemma. You've just about put me off going cheap. I wonder if anyone else on LZ has bought a balloon servo? Can you remember if it was Britpart?

I had Servo issues too and next to no brakes and all the checks mentioned were done on it. I decided to do the whole job and renewed the servo, master cylinder, all four callipers/discs/pads and all brake flexi and copper pipes plus four new wheel bearing for good measure too. Not cheap to do but the TD5 is 21 years old so it was worth renewing it all. In went the new fluid and all bled through the new nipples and the brakes were good but not brilliant. This was due to the pads not being bedded in and within days they were and all was good from then on. Only my wallet is not happy now.
