just looked on Auto Trader and it's not listed on there so maybe he's not telling the truth about it being advertised there then.

Any way jimbot90 it's got to be diesel and with a long test and I dont want to be doin any serious fixin for at least six months an er indoors has to like the interior and it hasn't to have been off roaded (had enough of mud in everythin with the 110) an that's about it really.

its norraz smart as that one,i cant see owt rong wi it tho.it ad a new cam belt about 5000 mile ago.its been owned by a mechanic so it shud a been well luked after.its a 200tdi

That looks ok to me but her indoors would like a shiney one as next door has a Merc:) ...me, ? I'm not fussed but I do need four doors if poss as have to teenage grandchildren to cart about.
I think I'll wait for this one local an see how it goes, thanks ....you never know though if things get desperate then it good to know that there are some reasonably cheap ones about.
Ya should have washed it for the phota an then it would have looked shiney.:)

orate duk.i dunt do tartin stuff up,wot ya see is wot ya get.that way folk arnt disapointed.
 
If you've got £1300 to spend I'd hold out for a 300tdi at the very least. Could get a very late tidy one for that sort of money if you've got a bit of patience!

Think that way meself and rather give stuff away than sell a dud.
I rather like that one o yours but er indoores wants summat a bit more posh as it's to replace the car and will be parked in front of the house. Women:rolleyes:
Not seen many two doors about how rare are they ??

A grand absolute tops! It's a 200 tdi. I got a tidy 300 tdi 0n a p plate for a grand.
Loads about so take your time and get the best deal you can.

How do you tell if its a 200 or 300tdi ? unless I missed it in the advert.:confused:
 
200tdi from the headlight style . true check:- 300tdi serpentine belts an dipstick at front of engine, 200tdi normal vee belts an dipstick on side of engine
 
The one you've linked is a 200tdi, the one in my avatar is a 300tdi. Larger headlights and indicator units, and a colour coded grille instead of the big black thing are the obvious differences.

So that's bigger headlights and a colour coded grill, did they sell 200 and 300 side by side or was it a year change??

I've heard that there is little difference between them. Heard that 300 is smoother and more economical though.

Dont want one with any of them ecu thingys either, just want one with one wire to the fuel stop solenoid and you're off. :)

does it have a long test, direct injection, little rust, 4 doors, look presentable, not smell like a kennel inside, then I'll have it iff it's cheap enough:D:D
