Is it normal

Is it normal for my radio to stay on for 30 seconds after I take the key oot tis was me who fitted it but the only feeds that were there was a small permanent live and a switched one but the switch one stays live for 30 seconds after removing the key ???

No its not normal,sounds like you have used a wire from the leccy window feed,these stay active after ignition is turned of to allow closing windows,after ignition is off.

Disco 1 em that kinda makes sense the windows don't go up without the key the alarm light thing don't work the reason I pick that wire was it had a spas type connector on it like it was connected to an old unit ( no unit in it when I got it ) will it do any harm the radio has its own 10 amp fuse in the back of it

Have a search for rave and check your wiring connections and check colour codes.Better to do it right,and checking it all out could prevent further problems.

Yeh your right but I just went out and pulled a few fuses the memory wire I have is cool it on the radio fuse but for the switch one I have it's marked auxiliary on the smaller satellite fuse block the inside light go out with it

Yeh but it's the same with all these format forums the search function is vague takes years wading through posts

use the one between new posts and quick links works ok better than the google one
and put you location up as well helps people give you more accurate advice and might be able to help ya out
