Is anyone breaking/got any spares for a DSE P38?

Hi All,

Just sorta thinking out loud as I get on with some other work (yes, plenty to do!)

I will be after at least one sensor in the next few days, the temp/coolant sensor under the inlet manifold, i'll have details of which it is when I look but as I wanted to just replace it to see whether it cures/helps with the overheating and poor running.... rather than spending loads on things which may not resolve the prob.

Please feel free to comment and let me know what you've got knocking around in terms of spares

dependingon which sensor it is i have got a brand new one what goes under the manifold near the diesel pump and a second hand one what goes under the manifold near the back of the engine , 1st thing i would do is check the thermostat as ihad that prob changed sensors flushed rad out etc turns out it was a stat playing up it was the last thing i checked as i had already put a new one in

p38on22s - could i 'bag' them please? I'll be putting a new 'stat on aswell! The car was plugged in sometime ago and flagged up two coolant sensors (so I was told (it's not my car)) ...

I'll need to check the part number/code of the one that is on at the moment, and should they be compatible with yours, then I'll have 'em off of you if thats ok?
