Is a 300tdi for 200tdi a straight swop?

Evening all. Slow progress on the engine. Although I have started on the engine mount and been practicing my welding. There is a few things I want to do to the truck whilst the engine is out. One bulkhead outrigger needs patching and the other replacing. Not looking forward to that. I was also thinking of fitting a DIY snorkel as I don't see the point in paying for a few bits of tube. I've looked through a few thread but can't find much about what goes on inside the wing. Can anyone shed any light?

disco r380 crossmember bolts straight in... however its not just a tunnel problem.. the gearstick will come through the seatbox.. actually in a much better place imho but the seatbox will need modifying

Thats a tidy looking cockpit, especially like the angle capping on the corners. But I've decided to stick with the lt77 for now because I need to get her running soon and it looks a bit simpler overall. Plan it to keep the r380 for a full rebuild once I've finished my degree.

Will aDefender speedo cable fit a 300tdi on a lt77 in the defender position?
