Hello everyone I'm new to the Landyzone but not land rover ownership. I've had most of the older models and only ventured into the electronics era with a Discovery 2 td5 auto, not my best land rover to be honest. I'm now embarking on a chassis swap / rebuild of a 1986 C reg 90. Its stripped and the old chassis is out. I've got the option of a mint a Tdci chassis complete with axles and suspension etc so i've bought it (yes I know it will need some modifications). I'm about to embark on the task of refitting the engine and box (once i've cut out the tdci mounts and welded in some engine mounts) I was trying to think of a way to use the current chassis mounts but can't find anyone who fabricates conversion pieces to allow the old 19j (or maybe a 200tdi) to sit straight in. Anyway I'll be following the forum closely and asking plenty of daft questions so bear with me i'm enthusiastic but the wife says too much sometimes.
