Hello from Prague.

I'm the American owner of an 04 Discovery II - TD5. The truck, known amongst my family as Bob, has served us in a few different countries - and is currently rounding out about 130,000km. He's had a charmed life - serving with a couple of different diplomatic families on 3 continents.

Current, small issues are:
1. SLS: I think I have an issue with the valve body. The bags hold just fine - even for two weeks of idle garage time. Occasionally, however, both bags will deflate after shut-off. It seems as if the customary pressure relief / stabilisation that occurs about 45 seconds after shut-off fails to seal properly. Question: Is it possible to 'clean' the valve body? I checked the filter earlier this fall. The outer foam bit had disintegrated, but the inner felt bit appears fairly clean. Our prior home was in western Africa, and surely Bob has seen some dust in his day.
2. Re-fuelling: Occasionally, I have difficulty re-filling the tank with diesel. A scan of various boards prompts me to think that diesel additives are the issue - but it's hit or miss, even at the same station. Anyone else noting a problem where diesel refuses to flow into the tank at a 'normal' fill rate?
3. Whistle / tone at +/- 2250 RPM: We just wrapped up a fall break - covering a couple thousand KM. I have a whistle / pure 'tone' that arrives at 2250 - regardless of gear / road speed. I'll check an EGR blanking plate that I installed a couple of months ago - but sound familiar to anyone?

Happy to be on the board - and happy to re-post the questions above as separate threads, if preferred by the community. FYI, I have a NanoCom if there are members nearby in need of a quick code check.
