I have peeked in over the years. I bought an ex-MOD Defender 90 1991 2.5 Diesel 5 years ago. I leave it in Italy for most of the year and then do a marathon annual round trip moving things between countries and getting my MOT.
I have experienced my share of little (and slightly larger) niggles over the years but that is all part of the deal.
I am coming up for a big decision (replacing / swapping the engine) and have been reading over all the posts and advice.
