Cold here at the moment!!!!
My heating doesn't work. Bofore I get ripped off by a dealer, are there any simple checks to get some warm air flowing inside my cab???

Thanks

Funny you should ask.
There is one very good way that I know of that my grandfather taught me back when I was knee high to a grass hopper.
He taught me all sorts of things that have served me well throughout my 30 oddyears on this planet....er what was the question?

@ OP

Put a flush through the system, then drain, then flush using hosepipe. then refill. then bleed, then check again.

I would not be going to a dealer and paying for something that I could do at home.

If you search the forum you will find full instructions for flushing/bleeding your system.

fuse? just blown one of mine and had to change it, failing that is it getting to temperature on the gauge?

Campfire in the boot! Everyone loves the smell of woodsmoke in the morning...

...and at night!

what's the problem?

doesnt blow? blows but its only cold? bit more information would be brilliant, we cant guess
Thanks for feedback.
Temp gauge working normally. Blows, but only cold air...

Take it for a long drive to get properly warm

Pop the bonnet and see whether either hose to the heater box is hot

If one is warmish and one cold, do as Forestofdoom suggests and reverse flush - just clamp the two pipes to avoid too much coolant loss.

If both are cold, could be a faulty thermostat

adjust the cables to the heater box?

td5's take along time to get hot, but 200 / 300's warm up well
