Interior door panel, help needed fast!

Its cold outside so I'mn trying to mak this as quick as I can.

How the hell do you get the driver door panel off a 1990 defender 90?

I've got all the screws and clips and everything out but its stuck on the slider lock mechanism, I've searched around and it says it'll just slide up but it doesn't slide anywhere!

It is a bit tight and a PITA, but if ye persiveer it will slide up

I dont wanna bust anything, thats the thing.

You need to remove the outer trim around the locking peg first.
Squeeze the 2 sides of it together and slide it upwards.

I'll give it a shot then, I'm off outside.
