Having had the recent rotten clip snap and boost pipe pop off I did some digging.
I knew FIRST LINE supplied clips that style from past experience so hit the webcat and started checking out specs from what I struggled to measure.
Came across 3 that were the right diameter and pinch.
FHC 2002S. 70-66mm *
FHC 2008S. 71-64mm
FHC 2011S. 71-66mm
All available from a guy on fleabay as manufacturer sells them bulk.
Grabbed first off list FHC2002S which is originally a VW/Audi clip. Fitment is ideal but the metal is 2.5 mm thick so too large for the slots in the boost pipe (1.7mm) using feeler gauges
Was always told engineer the part not the car so clamped it to bench and gently engineered down each side with 80 grit wheel on my angle grinder. It's only the side parts that slot in so didn't need all doing.
Slotted in with the tangs outward and slid the pipe on far as I could and it looked good.
Then gave it a tug backwards and it locked in on the intercooler good n solid.
Result.
First line FHC2002S worked.
Not tried the other two but as they are both also vw/Audi I would Imagine they would be of similar thickness but hey I made it work
