Adrian Flux basically hung up on me. Was disappointed. Been with admiral for two years and they have been fine. Done a few modifications online and all gone through great.

Out of curiosity what was the problem with AF, was it basically your mods. that they didn't like?
I only ask because I'm with them for my RRC, happy with the deal set up last year inc. agreed value. My renewal is due next month.

It was my first insurance and some of the quotes I was getting were mental so I’m guessing their computer spat some mad rates out. Didn’t have any mods at the time apart from a 300 tdi swap.

I just managed to get Admiral under a grand so went with that. I’m going to try AF again later in the year when I renew with a couple of years no claim. Everyone rates them highly so I think my experience was down to computers not liking my odds.

I called up Lancaster and the girl on the phone was laughing as the insurance was 4k too.

I've moved some cars away from flux this year, their prices seem to have jumped, quoted £330 for one renewal, got it for £250 elsewhere

In general cheap insurance provides less cover/optons. Flux like a lot of insurers are brokers. The AA is a broker anorl. The difference between the two is the AA handle a claim direct on behalf of the underwriter of yer insurance. Flux don't handle claims themselves. They just sell insurance.
