I've been checking both my P38's. They are both 1998, but one always comes up more expensive ? Daily driver 4.6 seems to be around £530 to £600, but my project car is £430. Used same criteria & mileage, etc on both.
Spoke with Churchill, and their underwriters gave good quote for project car, but declined daily driver. Footman James website said £390, but they don't track NCB, which could be an issue in the future.

My old P38 was usually 350-450 p/a, rose slowly to around 700 (I blamed mods + my credit rating). This years quote was £1400! So I do sympathise with you, and agree it’s extortion. Just have to keep shopping around, eventually you’ll get a decent deal. I found phoning them and not using the online quotes helped considerably
