I ordered Insa Dakar's the wheels arrived today but they are not Dakar's they are Insa Sahars's, They Look good but should I keep them or send them back?
My main questions are what are they like on tarmac for noise and handling in the wet?
How do they compare to Dakar's ?
Any thoughts lads?

Hi there, I got my 2.5TD with Insa Turbo Saharas fitted. They perform very well on road. I've changed them after about 12000 miles for BFG MT's which are a little more unruly then the Saharas.

Insa are definitly softer tyres than the BFG's and will wear out far faster. My suggestion is to rotate the tyres front to back, don't forget Saharas are unidirectional, MT in one direction and rock crawlers the other so you can't rotate them side to side. Do that every 3000 miles otherwise your front tyres will wear much faster than the rears.

All in all I think there's a false economy as the BFG's cost 25 - 30% more than Insa's but last more than twice, maybe three times as long.
