Decided to make a new inner sill to replace the one that got bashed when I got run into - since she decided not to admit liability (working on it) I started to work on it myself.
I looked at the old one and decided all it was, was a piece of unistrut with 2 brackets on it.
So, a piece of galv uni strut, cut to give the sill itself, and I just welded a piece of this on at the back for the tub bracket, and at the other end I cheated, I cut the plate off the old one and welded it on.
Looks pretty good, not the neatest piece of metal work I have done, but for 2 hours, no hacksaw blades to cut the steel - used all of them getting the old sill off! - and an angle grinder I think it turned out pretty damn good, and the unistrut is far heavier steel than the original sill.
Rocksliders next!
