inlet manifold

is rover 75 inlet manifold is the same as freelander V6 inlet manifold? coz I am pretty sure they are using exactly the same engine.

hi phil here, i have the same problem with my freelander....the upper manifold from land rover has a part code of LKB108021 L, and they quoted me £444.00 + VAT just to buy, then the three O rings that it sits on at about £10.00 for the three.. So i read your question about the Rover 75 engine, phoned Rover and the their part code for the inlet manifold is the same as land rover without the letter L on the end of part code and they told me that the parts are the same, now there price is £465.93 + VAT
then my good wife found a web site called www.partsgateway.co.uk---(salvage repairables) i went on there and asked for a manifold for my landy, no one had one from the places they had on line, i then asked for the same part off a rover 75 KV6 engine 2001 and got a reply straight away at the price of £125.00 + £10.00 delivery + VAT about £159.00 with a thiry day warenty on the part and so i ordered it spoke to land rover and rover and they both said IT'S THE SAME PART MATE hope you have some luck if you need anymore help ref breather pipes feel free to e-mail me on [email protected]

WOW!! thats great news!!! Thanks phil!! But I am down here in MElbourne Australia as not many rover here. I hope that company can send it to me (worth it?!).Well I am to talk to them anyway.Make sure you do the engine tune download phil, I think thats the main key why the butterfly starting to rattle.

when i contacted them i asked for an inlet manifold for a rover 75 2001 4 door petrol automatic my part should arrive here about the end of august (this month) so if you want to hang on till i get the part i will post a message to you that it is the same part speak soon------- phil-------
