Injectors for '03 Land Rover

Hi Guys!

Can somebody advice on where to get the cheap diesel injectors for my Land Rover Freelander Kalahari TD4, please?!

I had my Landy diagnosed as injector malfunction. The garage quoted me £ 1000 just for the injectors!! I was wondering if there is any cheaper way to source them (like refurbs or non-original ones)?

Do you have any experience in using the refurbs? Is it worth to use them or is it better to spent money for the brand new ones?

Any thoughts are much appreciated!!

ebay have a few, ranging between £100 to £150. A couple of years back, I had the injectors on mine refurbished, and so far (touch wood) they've been ok.

where abouts roughly are you based Super Jo ? somebody will be able to recommend somewhere to help you.

final bill for mine came to about £800 incl. labour, but that included a cam position sensor, a recovery, and sending the injectors away, and a couple of other minor things.

They ain't cheap mate, had one replaced on mine when I had it at a cost of 400 quid!!

expect to pay £150 per injector not fitted, they can be a real pig to get out or a 30 min job it depends if they are seized. , it is unusual to have to replace all 4 so would be asking why they think all need changing.
