Bit like saying it would be a good idea to have all the spark plug leads on an engine the same length then. So the the timing isn't disrupted. Does not happen Keith nano seconds involved. :):)

True on the short pipe lengths involved, but I bet it's taken into consideration at the design stage.
Always used identical length leads on my race car, as short as poss to give even volt drop. Maybe going too far but, every little helps, as they say:D

Yeah but the difference is there is no elctricery in the lead, it has to travel the full length each time to get to the plug, on a doozel the fuel is always behind the injector nozzle so any pressure exerted by the pump is instantly transmitted to the injector nozzle. Because the media it is using is incompressible. So it's like a constant solid connection, it really does not matter how long the pipe is, as long as the pipe is strong enough not to expand and contract. Flow rates are small for each pulse so any frictional flow loss through the pipe does not really come into it. :)
 
Ok update eBay diesel pipe fitted, glad ingot the tool without it it would of been oil filter and cooler pipes off, the tool fits well allowing only just a 1/4 of a turn a time you can't get the 1/2 inch drive ratchet on it the oil filter housing gets in the way, you can get an 1/2 inch extension on it as the starter motor is in the way, but if you put a knuckle joint on alls well.
Fired up no leaks all is calm well almost new hose thread to follow ......

A selection of short extensions are a must. :)
