Hi. If anyone can advise if 8510027 injector will be suitable for 2002 td4 auto or not? Would be appreciated.

From what I can find out: 0455110049 or stc4555 are suitable for manual and auto up to 2003 s/no. 3a23952.

0455110130 or 8510027 are for auto, but it looks like after s/no 3a23952. It appeared this injector was for the auto and I have bought this for my 2002 td4 s/no 2a but I am now doubting its computability since I saw different info. Thanks

I really can't be arsed to do this:(

I've just woken up.
It should say auto on the receipt if it's for an auto, fits 2000-2006
Manual is a slightly smaller (nozzle)injector.
Part numbers on injectors changed over the years, the part stayed the same.

Thanks for the info. I have the auto injector for my auto td4 which you have confirmed thanks.
I just had a concern that previous to 2003 the manual and auto were actually the same injector. I will go ahead with the job anyway. Cheers

It's easy to get confused with the part numbers.
Also when you look at the various engine power outputs, this can make you believe there must be more than 2 different injectors.
It's easy to know if you've got it wrong, your engine will run like a bag of spanners.
Sorry for the short answer earlier, I really had just woken up and the old grey matter wasn't firing properly.

For anyone interested. I have only just got round to doing this job but can confirm that the injectors fitted to my 2002 td4 automatic are part 0445110049, similar to that of the manual vehicles at this time. So it is not as clear cut as autos take 1 injector and manuals take another. Just confirm before you buy

Hi, I know this is an old thread, but still wanted to keep a single thread, I have a 2005 TD4 AUTO, and the injectores that I took off the engine is 0445110130, but the avaibility of this injector is limited, in the other hand, 0445110049 is much easier to buy, my question is, what will happend if I use 0445110049 in place of 0445110130? small noozle means less fuel pass on at given time/pulse, also mean will burn lean, but as diesel engine used to burn rich, will this affect at all? has someone used 0445110049 on their 2005 TD4 auto? what is the experience? thanks!

Yes, got 0049 in my auto. Entire engine was from a manual. No problems at all. If anything it does more mpg. On a run 38 to 39 is not unusual.
