Injector no 4 leak off pipe to gearbox

Hi all, I have just changed the gearbox and clutch on my 98 discovery 300tdi. One of the pipes that comes off the side of the gearbox appears to go to injector no 4's leak off pipe. Does anybody know why this is?

Pipe from gearbox is an air vent, leak off goes back to filter or fuel tank

I have checked the pipe that goes to the side of the gearbox, and it definitely has fuel in it. The othe pipe that comes off the fransfer box is a breather
