Hello folks I've recently changed my injectors on my td4 but seem to have a problem with the number two injector.
The spill pipe is soaked in diesel and filling up with fuel around the injectors.
I suspected a split pipe but I've replaced them and the connector also after removing the injector and giving a clean it is still leaking diesel through the pipe, any ideas on the cause would be very appreciated.

Double check the collar is seated correct, also look inside top the injector to make sure part of the old leak back T piece as not been left behind seen that before now, is the fitting spring inserted correctly, just little things you can check quickly. when you removed the injectors did you make sure all the copper seals were removed with them, and not left behind in the port, if so you could have two copper seals on that injector.

I have done all those even and double checked, all is torqued down correctly + cleaned including the injector housing, so all is clean and fitting well.
I've a small bald patch now.

Hi Tenchman. Just wondered if you’d sorted your fuel leak out? I ask because I have exactly the same problem. I’ve replaced all the T pieces for brass ones and fitted new copper washers and O rings to each injector. But fuel is still pooling around the injectors.

I had this problem and replaced with brass connectors. While dong so found a piece of the original O ring had been left in one of the injectors, which was the cause of the leak. Also replaced all the hose as wel. Problem solved for me at least. If it persists I would check that the injectors have been seated properly.
