Interesting, as far as I can make out the connector that LR used in that catalog is the snap through SLCT-8 on pg12 p/no 098533-0010 which mates with 098532-0008 & is designed for 'harsh environment's' so either something is going amiss when the looms are assembled or the amount of heat cycles exceed the test limits & as suggested it (the loom) becomes a service part that needs replacing periodically. I see if I can check mine tomorrow.
