Hi all
Though i would used the bank holiday to tinker around with the old girl.

Reading a thead this morning about an old TDI300 that had been left unused it was advised about using injector cleaners to try and help smoke reduction, my 300 has had oil, fuel and air filter done last month from the service that came from the dealer,

The dealer did say he had used an injector cleaner (maybe he didnt who knows), i was wondering should i continue this process and how often should it be done, also is there any other fluids that you recommend that can be applied to help.

Enjoy the bank holiday

I use wynn's injection cleaner about every 3 months or every 2,600 miles which ever one comes first.I have just been to Scotland and used the cleaner and the black smoke and fuel consumption has improved and it keeps getting better each time i use the cleaner.hope this helps
